What does a one-on-one session include?

Individual sessions where we discuss what YOU want to discuss. Do you want to workout together? Need some guidance or instruction? Want coaching around healthy habits, macros, cardio workouts, or technique? Or perhaps we need to evaluate your goals and adjust? This is about you and your needs. You tell me how you want to spend your time.

What if I’m pre-op bariatrics? Can I still sign up?

100% absolutely. There is no better time to get a hold of your health than before surgery! I can help you make small sustainable changes in your habits before surgery. This not only makes the transition after surgery easier, but it sets you up for a better recovery.

Where in the US do I need to be? Can I Virtually train?

Anywhere! I'm even happy to train those outside of the US, but there may be some planning involved in finding time to meet up online. Yes! I train via 30-minute Zoom virtual calls for now. I'm more than happy to accommodate your time zone and your schedule as best I can. I do currently have a  full-time job and I primarily train in the mornings before work on week days, after work in the evenings, and on Saturdays.

What is the time commitment?

Thirty minutes a day, five days a week. That's it. You can always put in more, but that's all I'm asking of you. And we go at your pace, so you can tell me if you'd rather do an hour three times a week, or ten-minute bouts of exercise throughout a day. This is tailored to YOU. Exercise is about having fun, moving your body, and celebrating what you can do. So if things need to be adjusted, you just say the word.

How much does personal training cost?

A single 30-minute virtual session is $25 (not including PayPal fees). See my packages page for more details!

It looks like you specialize in bariatric patients, What if I’m not one?

My primary passion is bariatric patients and gym newbies, but I have the skills and knowledge to train anyone who is interested. Just reach out to me!

What does one month of coaching include?

Exercise is only a part of the complete picture. I have multiple packages to fit each individual's needs (and can also do one-on-one drop-ins if you don't want to pay for an entire package.)

What Personal Training Includes:

1. Free consultation

2. One-on-one training (Daily, weekly, or monthly)

3. Personalized workout plans

4. Access to NASM’s Edge app (and videos) for tracking

5. Text/email support

6. Goal identification and a plan of action

7. Supportive Facebook group to ask questions

8. Workouts from beginner to advanced

9. Macros/general nutritional coaching (in accordance with your bariatric surgeon’s plan)

What about my injuries or physical limitations?

First and foremost, I will always adhere to your doctor/physician/physical therapist on any matters pertaining to injuries. If you have an existing injury but your doctor/surgeon has cleared you for exercise, I can easily accommodate and adapt any workout to minimize the risk of further injury and pain. 

If you have physical limitations due to size or ability, that's no problem. I have workouts/programs tailored to all levels of ability, whether you are chair/bed-bound, or active and on the move. I will help you find the right way forward.

How can I pay?

I take payments online via Paypal through invoices. There is an added $3-5 fee for using Paypal. I will walk you through the process once you are all signed up!

Can I train in person?

If you live in the PNW near Klamath Falls, Oregon, then YES! I'd love to train you in person either at my home or yours.

Do I need equipment?

Nope. Basic equipment (like dumbbells, kettlebells, bands, and balls) is nice, and it may be something you choose to acquire as time goes on, but there is plenty we can do with bodyweight alone.

Are you licensed and insured?

I received my Personal Training Certification from NASM in March of 2022. I have professional liability insurance as well.

How soon will I see results?

There is no exact formula to give you an exact day that you will see results. But many clients see increases in strength/stability in as little as four to six weeks with dedication. It's all about commitment and consistency. If you put in the work, you will see results.

How can I be successful?

Consistency, showing up for yourself daily. I can only give you the tools. It’s up to you to do the work. I know you can do it. You've come this far, how much farther can you go?
